Three pick your own fruit farms you can reach from London without driving, checked 23 July 2026. The Fruit Fields in Iver is the best overall on the Elizabeth line, Crockford Bridge Farm in Addlestone is easiest from the train, and Garsons in Esher has the biggest selection. This is a cheap day out, not a free one, you pay a small entry fee plus your fruit by weight. Crops change daily so always check the farm's live crop page before you travel, and note the strawberries have finished for the season at Crockford Bridge.

The Fruit Fields, Iver — Best Overall

Iver, Buckinghamshire, SL0 0LU · Iver (Elizabeth line) · 25 min walk

Best overall and the easiest crops to get to on the Elizabeth line. Picking now: strawberries, raspberries, plums and blackcurrants. About an hour door to door from central London. Entry is £5 per person with £3 of it back as fruit credit, and you must book online, there is no gate entry. Crops change daily so check the live crop page before you set off.

Crockford Bridge Farm, Addlestone — Easiest From The Train

New Haw Road, Addlestone, Surrey, KT15 2BU · Byfleet & New Haw (from Waterloo) · 1 mile walk

The shortest, simplest journey, about 60 to 70 minutes door to door. Right now the PYO crops are limited and the strawberries have finished for the season, so check today's crop list before you travel. Farm passes are £5 adult with £3 credit and £3 child with £1 credit. Booking is strongly recommended online.

Garsons, Esher — Biggest Selection

Winterdown Road, West End, Esher, Surrey, KT10 8LS · Esher (from Waterloo) · taxi recommended

The biggest range by a mile: strawberries, raspberries, carrots, beans, onions and much more. From Esher station a taxi is recommended, it is about a 40 minute walk otherwise. Entry is £2.50 per person with no credit included, and you need to book online. Check the live crop page for what is ready before you go.
