Six weeks of free summer events by the water at Canada Water, from 23 July to 30 August 2026. Free gigs on a floating stage with Norman Jay MBE and Steam Down, six market weekends with Craft and Flea and KERB street food, free drop-in kids workshops at the Dockside Den, plus salsa, Spit Nights poetry and a floating open air cinema on weeknights. All free, right by Canada Water station in SE16. Some events are capacity managed on the night, so check the venue before you go.

Go East Vintage runs a free vintage flea market most weekends at Maltby Street in Bermondsey, plus an indoor edition inside the railway arches on selected weekends. Free entry, no ticket, dog-friendly, just turn up. Expect 40 plus vintage sellers with furniture, vinyl, cameras, fashion, jewellery and odd little treasures, right by Maltby Street Market's food stalls. Dates move around a little, so check Go East Vintage's Instagram for the exact weekend before you go.
