A free urban beach on the rooftop of Croydon's Centrale car park, every August. Sand, beach hut seats, a splash zone and bungee trampolines with deckchair views over the town. It debuted in 2024 with over 30,000 visitors and has returned bigger every summer since. Getting onto the rooftop is free, though a few rides like the bungee trampolines, bumper cars and hook a duck cost extra.

- Costa del Croydon rooftop beach — Centrale rooftop, Croydon CR0 1TY. 7 to 31 August, two sessions daily, 11.30am to 3pm and 3.30pm to 7pm. Free entry to the rooftop. Sand, beach hut seats, a splash zone, dance workshops and bingo. Bungee trampolines, bumper cars and hook a duck cost extra. New for 2026, a Thursday night 18+ Beach Club with DJs, drag and sip and paint.
